Katty Paws LLC Grooming Service Policies.

 

By hiring the grooming services of Katty Paws LLC, the client agrees to the following company policies:

  1. Pricing Policy

The prices for grooming services are based on the following factors:

  • Weight: Prices may vary depending on the dog’s weight.
  • Breed: Some breeds require special care, which may affect the pricing.
  • Size: The size of the dog will influence the final price.
  • Coat Condition: Dogs with matted, tangled, or excessively dirty coats may incur additional charges due to the extra time and effort required for grooming.
  • Behavior: If the dog’s behavior poses a challenge (e.g., aggression, extreme anxiety), an additional charge may be applied, or the service may not be completed.
  1. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
  • Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they wish to cancel or reschedule their appointment.
  • If this cancellation policy is not followed, a late cancellation fee of 15%  (depending on the grooming service fee) will apply.
  • In the event at no-show, an additional charge of 20% (depending on the grooming service fee) will apply
  1. Coat Condition Policy
  • If the dog has an extremely matted or tangled coat, additional charges may apply to cover the extra time needed to detangle.
  • If the coat is in such poor condition that grooming cannot be performed safely or effectively, Katty Paws LLC reserves the right to refuse service. In this case, the client will be notified, and the possibility of rescheduling or providing a specialized service will be discussed.
  1. Safety Policy for Dog and Groomer
  • Katty Paws LLC reserves the right to refuse service if the dog displays signs of aggression, extreme fear, or any behavior that may endanger the safety of the dog or the groomer.
  • If the dog displays aggression or severe distress that compromises safety, the grooming service will be immediately terminated, and a fee will be charged for the time spent until that point.
  1. Dog Health Policy
  • The client confirms that their dog is in good health to receive grooming services.
  • If the dog has any medical conditions that may affect its ability to be groomed (such as skin infections, open wounds, etc.), the client must inform the groomer before the service is performed. The groomer reserves the right to refuse the service if it is deemed unsafe due to health conditions.
  • Health Responsibility: If the dog sustains any injury or its health condition worsens as a direct result of grooming, the client assumes all responsibility, holding Katty Paws LLC harmless from any claims.
